AIMT Research & Evidence Standards

As AIMT builds toward a public education library, it holds every piece of scientific or health-adjacent content to an internal evidence-review process before publication. This page explains that process, not the specific research findings themselves.

The AIMT review ladder

Research material AIMT works with moves through four stages before it is eligible to inform anything public:

Discovery. A candidate source or reference is identified as potentially relevant. Discovery alone is not verification, and it is not approval.

Source verification. A source's authenticity and publication details are confirmed. Verifying that a source exists and says what it appears to say is not the same as endorsing every claim drawn from it.

Claim verification. Specific factual claims drawn from a verified source are checked against that source directly.

AIMT approval. A final, human editorial review. Only material a person has explicitly reviewed and approved is eligible to inform public education content — no automated step in the process can grant that approval on its own.

How approved evidence becomes public education

AIMT does not publish one page per research paper. Approved evidence is synthesized by topic into educational overviews written for practitioners, with source citations and a visible sense of the evidence's limitations and context — not a raw feed of individual findings. New research entering the system does not automatically rewrite what's already public: published education content stays under the same editorial review that cleared it in the first place, and is revisited on that basis rather than changing silently.

What stays private

AIMT's internal research corpus — the full body of discovered and verified source material, and the claims drawn from it — is maintained as a private, working library and is not published or browsable directly. Only material that has completed AIMT's full review and been approved for public use ever informs published education content.

Two layers, and a future direction

AIMT's public education content is meant to be search-intent-driven, cited educational synthesis — written for the questions practitioners and prospective students actually have, not a paper archive. Separately, AIMT is exploring a more advanced, member-oriented research and reference experience for working professionals as a future direction. It is not an available product today, and this page will be updated if and when that changes.

Current state of the public library

At this time, AIMT's public education library has not yet launched. No topic area has yet completed AIMT's full review and approval process to the standard this page describes, so no education content has been published under it. This page — and the library itself — will be updated once that standard is met.
